When I work with owners, I’m not just thinking about today’s rental price. I’m thinking about the long-term experience for the owner, the future tenant, and the overall upkeep of the property itself. For example, sometimes I’ll recommend increasing the rent slightly so we can include things like a washer and dryer in the property. That allows me to provide and maintain the appliances, helps the tenant avoid a large upfront expense, and creates a more competitive and practical rental overall.
