"Evelyn was a great resource, partner, and negotiating shark in our home buying process! In an industry where agents are not always incentivized to act fully in the buyers' interest, it was clear she actually cares. We were house hunting remotely (after having a mediocre experience with our first house and agent), so I found her through the other reviews here saying she was good for that. We had an initial call but what sea… led the deal for us was the personalized video she sent to us in response to asking what sets her apart from other choices - connecting with us as both parents of young kids ("I want to be someone who you get coffee or kids' playdate with even after we're done"), and saying this unforgettable line "negotiation is my love language", haha! While we toured remotely, she provided a lot of detail and commentary that you can only get from an in-person tour (cabinets old, water signs in basement, absence of noticeable smells, etc.). She then went back through to create a private video walkthrough for us to scrub through later - very helpful. The whole time we had a group text chain where we could share thoughts and ask questions - much easier and more convenient/personal than email or phone calls. Ultimately we were not comfortable with remote home-buying, but that was a personal choice. We bought our house a few months later after moving into a rental in-state.Throughout tours, offer process, inspections, etc., Evelyn provided valuable insight from her real estate and home renovation experience. We have even stayed in contact for meetups and various house questions well after closing and possession. I think this is a standout attribute when there are tons of other agents that are all happy to take the same 2-3% of your purchase price.Let's get this straight, Evelyn can be blunt and will tell you like it is. This can be jarring, but it’s absolutely what you want in an agent; friendly and personable but gets down to business on your side of the table when necessary!Overall, definitely recommend."
